Camp Accounting has created a new training process, in a camp site-like theme, to demystify the learning experience and break down the basic principles of accounting using unique model called Accounting Trail Map (AT Map). The Map teaches accounting from the ground up, using basic concepts, examples, and activities to help absorb the information. The campers will be engaged from the moment they enter the room until the final interaction with the rest of the campers and training guide.
Students will walk away with the basic understanding of accounting principles, how each transaction in a business is like a tree, and how all those trees create a forest of transactions that tell the story in the form of two reports: a Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement.
